2010 in review.....I love google perspective

I watched this the other day.  Very cool review of the world as seen by Google.  It is amazing to me how quickly we forget some of the important events of this past year,   I will probably watch this a couple of times to continue to remind me of the changes that the world is going through.

Struggles in 2010 ranged from an Icelandic Volcano, earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, Pakistan and floods and mudslides. To debt and financial crises in Europe, US, and the rest of the world.  Amazing advances in medicine, technology, and computers.  Terrible disasters in the Gulf of Mexico and in Europe.  Chilean miners. Double rainbows and Antoine Dodson.

Now you go watch this video and  run and tell that!
World in Review

Ho hum.

No profound thoughts here today.  In fact, the exact opposite.. I am sure I suffer with Seasonal Affective Disorder... Midwinter blues....Cabin fever...I don't care what you call it.  Dull like a butter knife..
Maybe I should start taking Vitamin D again.

Dark when you go to work and when you come home. In an office all day without windows!! (yes, no windows)  At least I got to walk pup before dinner, no sun, but dusky... I will take what I can get.  I will try to remain positive.  (Remain positive, Re-Main Pos-i-tive)

I was also wondering if I was turning into a werewolf.. I am staying up later and later...grouchy....hairy...hmm.
Check the moon cycles. And lock your doors!!!

Deja Vu

I got this lovely shot this evening just after the sun had set...  It was so surreal, the colors.  When I look at this shot up close on the computer, I can see the footsteps wandering off into the woods.  The cold light on the frozen river in the background to the shaded foreground is an interesting contrast. And the peachy glow of the cold setting winter sun.

 I snapped this shot from about the same position on my riverbank.  The colors were divine, and the icing emphasizes the big old tree.  The river was very close to breaking up, and the ice was gone in a week.

Which one do you like better?  The mysterious feel of the first one, or the cotton candy colors of the second?   Winter or Spring...
Remind me to redo these pics in Summer and Fall!

Kaiser eyes

His eyes, they hypnotize..... I love this puppy. He follows me around everywhere. I am very blessed.

Got an iPhone 4 for xmas... It has a pretty capable PS camera built in, and apps to enhance = voila.
I love the Colorsplash App, you can add back color to your pics where you think it matters most...like Kaiser's eyes..
They melt my heart.   Hasta la vista!!
